Real food, zero additives! Lanyang Foods' five products have passed Tzu Chi's most stringent 100% additive-free certification.

Lan Yang Foods, a company with 41 years of experience in Taiwan's food industry and a presence in over 30 countries, is known as the "leading frozen prepared food brand." It has achieved further success in food safety and quality management, with nine of its products passing Tzu Chi International's certification. Among them, five products, including "Shile Quinoa Chickpeas," have received the most stringent "100% No Additives Label," meaning they use absolutely no food additives, embodying the "real food, zero additives" philosophy and demonstrating the company's commitment to pure food.

Ciyue International rigorously evaluated and verified nine products.

Tzu-Yue International is a well-known professional food verification organization in Taiwan, having established a verification system with three levels: "Clean Label," "Double Clean Label," and "100% Additive-Free Label." All levels must comply with eight major additive-free requirements (no artificial chemical flavorings, artificial chemical colorings, artificial chemical sweeteners, preservatives, bleaching agents, color retention agents, binders, and aluminum-containing leavening agents), and that raw materials are non-GMO and pesticide residues comply with regulations. Among these, "Cleanliness labelOf the approximately 800 food additives approved by the Food and Drug Administration of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, about 599 are permitted, representing a reduction of 301 TP4T."Double Cleanliness Mark"The conditions are more stringent, allowing only 88 additives to be used, reducing 901 TP4T; the highest level"100%No added labelsThey cannot use any food additives listed by the Food and Drug Administration, and the verification conditions are extremely stringent.

Five products meet the highest standards: genuine food with zero additives.

Five of the products submitted by Lan Yang Foods for testing achieved the highest level of the "100% No Additives Label," meeting the strictest standards from raw material selection to manufacturing processes. These products include "Fruit-Rich Rock Sugar Stewed Tremella," made by simmering carefully selected white fungus until it becomes gelatinous and chewy, paired with colorful fruits such as peaches and cranberries, presenting a multi-layered taste and color; "Golden Sunshine Mushroom Rice," made by stir-frying diced king oyster mushrooms into mushroom rice, paired with cauliflower rice, edamame, corn, and red quinoa, offering a nutritionally balanced and delicious meal; "Shile Quinoa Chickpeas," which uses sweet and tender chickpeas combined with quinoa, bell peppers, and edamame, ready to eat after thawing, convenient and healthy; and "Sesame Oil Nuts Lion's Mane Mushroom," which uses black sesame oil to stew chewy lion's mane mushrooms, paired with walnuts, cashews, goji berries, and red dates, making it a mild and nourishing soup.

Among them, the brand's signature healthy vegetarian product, "Quinoa and Edamame," is made with carefully selected red and white quinoa, which are light, fragrant, chewy, and tender. It is paired with whole, sweet, and fresh plump green edamame, sweet diced onions, and seasoned with extra virgin olive oil and black pepper. The product presents a refreshing and healthy taste without any burden through the original food. This popular product has not only won the "100% No Additives Label," but also won the two-star medal awarded by the Belgian "International Taste & Quality Institute (ITQi)," which is known as the "Michelin of the food industry," in 2024 and 2025, demonstrating the international competitiveness of Taiwanese vegetarian brands.

Double cleanliness and cleanliness label products ensure quality control at every stage.

Among the products certified with the Clean Label is the "Energetic Pumpkin Soup," which combines rich pumpkin with creamy and whipped cream to create a sweet and mellow international flavor, making it a soup choice suitable for all ages. The other three Clean Label certified products are equally impressive: "Braised Gluten and Bamboo Shoots" perfectly combines the chewy textures of gluten and bamboo shoots, paired with bamboo shoots, shiitake mushrooms, and wood ear mushrooms, offering a rich, savory flavor that can be enjoyed hot or cold. Also noteworthy is the "Red Quinoa Taro and Shiitake Mushroom Porridge," which won the Silver-Friendly Food Award. Made with white rice and red quinoa as a base, it's simmered with taro and shiitake mushrooms, resulting in a rich taro aroma that blends seamlessly with the rice grains—a comforting and flavorful traditional porridge that leaves a lasting impression.

In addition, the "Pesto Mushroom Stew with Cauliflower Rice" features finely chopped cauliflower into rice-like pieces, paired with a smooth pesto made with fresh basil and extra virgin olive oil, and infused with cheese powder, heavy cream, and nutty cashews, all simmered to create a rich sauce. The dish is served with tender king oyster mushrooms, chewy barley, and garnished with non-GMO edamame, sweet corn kernels, and fluffy chickpeas, presenting a multi-layered international feast full of Italian flair.

Adhering to the concept of real food from raw materials to production processes.

Lan Yang Foods Chairman Lu Gentian pointed out that Lan Yang Foods has long been committed to providing healthy and safe food. Five of the products submitted for testing met the highest standard of "100% No Additives". From strictly selecting natural ingredients and using special processes to not adding any food additives, every step is strictly controlled, so that "real food, zero additives" is not just a slogan, but a practice of every dish.

He said that receiving the Tzu Chi Certification is an affirmation of the company and a driving force for continuous progress. In the future, the company will continue to launch more high-quality products that meet the Clean Label standard, so that more consumers can enjoy a healthy and delicious diet.
