The climax of the event was the publication of founder Lu Gentian's new autobiography "Rooted in Lantian". This book records his struggle from a simple boy in Yilan countryside to founding Lanyang Foods, which has become a leading brand of international frozen instant prepared foods. Lu Gentian is full of affection for his hometown, Yilan, which nurtured him. In addition to the company name representing his hometown Lanyang (Lanyang), the three factories he built were all located near the village where he was born. Lu Gentian said that this book records not only his life story, but also a microcosm of Taiwan's food industry. He was born in a farming family and has a simple and honest personality. He went to the fields to participate in family farm work when he was five or six years old. He understood the hardships of farming best, and therefore had the idea of starting a business. He started out by wholesale jellyfish skin in a small warehouse, and he and his wife He Ming'e worked hard all the way. Thanks to the support and care of noble people, the couple took one step at a time. Every step of Lan Yang Food's growth has relied on honest management and unremitting efforts. Starting from the Taiwan market, they have worked hard all the way to become an internationally renowned food company. Recalling this journey, the couple couldn't help but tears up.
