In an era of rapid change and constant challenges, every kind thought and action is a vital force driving the world towards good. Coinciding with the auspicious seventh lunar month, the Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation, upholding the spirit of "Great Love, Common Good, and Rescuing Suffering," is putting love and care into action. On August 17th, the "Light Up Little Lights, Let Love Soar" Charity Bazaar was held at the Tzu Chi Yilan Campus, illuminating those in need and bringing hope and strength to those in need.
The seventh lunar month is considered Buddha's "month of joy, good fortune, and filial piety." Tzu Chi uses this opportunity to promote vegetarianism, charity, and filial piety. Before the seventh lunar month, Tzu Chi holds a blessing ceremony and charity sale to spread the concept of vegetarianism and animal protection, unite the community, and inspire kindness and love in everyone, hoping for a more peaceful society.
Lan Yang Foods enthusiastically supported the charity sale, combining delicious food with kindness, embodying its corporate culture of "putting people first and giving back to society" and contributing to public welfare. Six vegan meal kits were specially launched, combining health, deliciousness, and thoughtfulness. Items for sale included: "Dili Quinoa and Chickpeas," "Fragrant Sichuan Ears," "Qbo Mango and Mango Sago," "Wasabi-Flavored King Oyster Mushrooms," "Japanese-Style Wakame Shreds," and "Tsukudani Black Beans." While enjoying delicious food, participants were also able to transform their love into tangible warmth, spreading it to every corner of society in need. Lan Yang Foods will also donate all proceeds from the charity sale to the Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation of the Republic of China, supporting charitable causes through concrete actions and continuing the cycle of kindness.
