Lan Yang Foods has been deeply involved in Taiwan's frozen prepared food industry for forty years, and held the "40th Anniversary and New Book Release Thanksgiving Tea Party" in Lize Industrial Park, Yilan on December 20, 2024.
This is not only a corporate celebration, but also a journey back in time to review the development of Taiwan's instant food culture. In the 1980s, when the southern and northern goods on Dihua Street were booming, Lu Gentian, the founder of Lan Yang Food, first made delicious seafood into instant prepared food packages, opening a new era of frozen instant food in Taiwan. Today, the microwave cooking boxes and personal cooking packages in convenience stores that we are familiar with in supermarkets all have the footprints of Lan Yang Food.
The event was hosted by founder Mr. Lu Gentian and general manager Ms. He Ming'e, and invited heavyweight guests from the food, education and cultural fields to gather together. In addition to showcasing the company's key milestones, Chairman Lu Gentian also shared his new book "Rooting in the Orchid Field", leading the audience to take a peek into the history of Taiwan's frozen ready-to-eat food industry and witness the evolution from farming to the technological era.
